All That Remains of Me

All That Remains of Me

My long-term photography project, All That Remains of Me, is driven by a simple yet profound question: What lies beyond the canvas? Through years of documentation, I have witnessed Habip Aydogdu's unique artistic journey and his struggles during quarantine, all of which have influenced his captivating and sophisticated expressionist style. As I aim to capture the essence of Aydogdu's process, I strive to reveal the hidden layers and intricate details that make his paintings so captivating, providing a window into his world that goes beyond what meets the eye.

His legacy, however, lies not only in the beauty of his paintings but in the questions they provoke. By leaving behind a lingering sense of wonder, Aydogdu's art invites the viewer to ponder the complexities of the human experience.

As I journey through his artistic process, I search for the traces of these questions, hoping to capture not only his artistic legacy but also the profound impact that his paintings have on those who contemplate them.

“Merely a question, all that remains of me”
